Memorial Day
Went to a party last night at my friend Augden's. What a blast. Almost tried fresh NW salmon, but not quite.
Went to my school buddy Ben's 4th Bday today. Cool. Lotsa rolling in the grass, yelling, chasing, kids hitting each other with foam bats, throwing of dirt, eating of things, disconnected parents drinking and ignoring...all things every kid's party should have, you know.
Coming up later this week...photos and story of my fall. AAAANNNNNNDDDDDDDD...the 'possum. Let's just leave it at that.

Oh, no, Rory, you fell? I am so sorry to hear that. I bet your were a brave boy, like your dad with all the scrapes I doctored for him. He was constantly covered with "road rash"--ouch! Can't wait to hear about the 'possum and where it was. Sounds like you had a fun Memorial Day--we missed you here with us. Your cousins are staying with us while Aunt Kalli packs up to move to Portland to live by you again. I love you and miss you tons.
